2026 Ducati Desmo450 EDX

Enduro-Cross Unleashed

The dawn of a new era in Ducati off-road. The Desmo450 MX and the new Desmo450 EDX carry Borgo Panigale racing DNA into motocross and cross-country competition. Born to compete and developed on track, the MX is lightweight, powerful, and essential—delivering advanced technology and maximum performance for pure speed and control. Alongside it, the EDX extends this race-proven platform into Enduro-Cross, engineered for endurance, precision, and long-distance competition.

The Desmo450 EDX is Ducati’s answer for riders looking to compete in Enduro events. Based on the Desmo450 MX, this is a lightweight, highly advanced, yet essential motorcycle designed to meet the needs of both amateurs and professionals, thanks to the performance of its Desmo engine, an easy-to-ride chassis suitable for riders of all skill levels, and the sophistication of Ducati’s advanced electronic package, which includes the first-ever closed-loop off-road-ready traction control.

Features may include:

  • Handguards

Standard handguards protect against branches and debris while shielding the brake and clutch levers from damage.

  • Closed-cartridge Showa fork with dedicated springs

The closed-cartridge Showa fork is fully adjustable, featuring 49 mm inverted stems, 310 mm of travel, Kashima Coating treatment on the stanchions, dedicated springs, and specifically tuned damping.

  • Skid plate

The skid plate safeguards the engine and frame from impacts with rocks, roots, and uneven terrain.

  • 18" rear wheel

18" rear wheel with a Pirelli Scorpion XC Mid-Soft tire, chosen for improved traction, comfort, and control on varied off-road terrain.

  • Showa rear shock with dedicated spring rate

The spring rate has been specifically tuned for Enduro riding, and the damping has been tuned to match the new spring.

  • Increased range fuel tank

A dedicated 2.25 US gal (8.5L) fuel tank, designed to fit a specific seat and shroud set, extends the range of the EDX.
